All submitted ads are to be typed and formatted by the advertiser unless they wish for the printer to design and format their ad. Additional charges for this service will be the responsibility of the advertiser. *Additional photos are 10.00 each.
All ads must be accompanied by payment in full. Checks must be made payable to APC. Any ads received without payment or with checks improperly made out will be returned. Payment for emailed ads is expected within 7 days of that issues deadline, or the ad will be pulled from that edition.
Publishing Schedule:
- Spring - deadline March 15
- Summer - deadline June 15
- Fall - deadline September 15
- Winter - deadline December 10
For Best Results - Provide a good, clear picture. Color is fine, but black and white reproduces best. Color copies do not reproduce as clearly as an original photo. Photos can be reduced, but enlargements may become fuzzy. Remember, the finished product will be no better than the original picture you send.
Do not send photos downloaded from the Internet. They are generally very grainy and will not look good. And we cannot work from photos sent via email or on disk. Do not cut your photo into shapes instead mark with stickies where you would like them cropped. Or, just add a note stating, dog only, dog and handler etc. If there are no instructions the editor will choose.
Mail all ads in an envelope with cardboard protecting them. IF YOU WANT YOUR PHOTO RETURNED, ENCLOSE A STAMPED, SELF--ADDRESSED ENVELOPE.
Page sizes are 8.5 x 11", with a 1/2" border all around.
Camera ready ads are appreciated, but must be totally camera ready. All ads should be typed and all pedigrees MUST be typed. The editor will not be responsible for typos from handwritten copy.

Address Changes
Pointer Points is sent via FIRST CLASS mail, which means if you've
moved and forgot to notify the American Pointer Club treasurer, the
post office WILL FORWARD the magazine IF you have a change of address
on file with them. The mailing list for Pointer Points Magazine is
generated from the Membership List online database, so be sure to
update your address information on APC's MEMBERS ONLY page and send a notice of address
change to our Treasurer and to our Membership
